I-000All Corrections shall be clouded and delta numbered.  For corrections or revisions to whole plan sheets, you need only cloud the sheet number and provide the delta identification number.  Please include a separate itemized response letter, which is numbered to correspond to each of the below noted items.  This letter must clearly address how each issue has been corrected or resolved.  The response letter shall be typewritten on letterhead noting the project name and the permit application number.  NOTE; Failure to provide this letter may result in review delays or the rejection of the resubmittal.
I-001rovide a Life Safety egress plan to include the following components;  1) Provide the travel distance measurements, using the actual travel distance, not the code required maximum travel distance, and the route to be taken from the most remote area of the tenant space to the exits.   2) All obstructions within the egress path must be shown to include cubes, office furniture, equipment, and display shelving.  3) For the purpose of  calculating the design occupant load for the area being renovated, constructed or otherwise being altered please note the square footage of the individual rooms or areas on the Life Safety Plan. 4) Along with the square footage required in #3 above.  Provide the occupant load factor, based on Table 7.3.1.2 of the LSC 2018 Ed, for the individual rooms or areas in question.   5) Calculate the designed occupant load for each room or area and note the total occupant load for the project. NOTE: You may exclude any restrooms or dedicated hallways or corridors from the designed occupant load.

I-005The submitted plans have been reviewed for code compliance and appears to meet code requirements at this time.  Final approval of the project is subject to final field inspections.  This project has been approved for Fire Marshal’s Office permitting, however, you are still responsible to address any other comments that you may have received from the city building inspections division.  You will be notified when your permit is ready for pick up.  
I-006The attached comments are for the contractors’ information.  A copy of the comments will be attached to the job copy of the plans and shall remain attached until the final inspection is completed.
