The Public Participation meeting is the initial opportunity for residents to learn and engage with the applicant of proposed rezoning or special use permit applications. This is an integral part of the zoning process.
This informal meeting is held at the beginning of the application process, before the pending application is heard by the Planning Commission and the Mayor and Council.
Residents will have the opportunity to hear directly from the applicant, review plans up close (site plans and architectural renderings) and ask questions regarding the proposal.
