About the Project

The McGinnis Ferry Road project will widen the roadway from two to four lanes between Sargent Road and Douglas Road. Sidewalks and trails included with the project will connect residents to the Big Creek Greenway in Alpharetta. The bridge over Caney Creek will also be replaced with this project.

This project is being done in partnership with the City of Alpharetta, Forsyth County, and Georgia Department of Transportation.
