James Zebley

Major James Zebley serves as the Division Commander for the Operations Division, bringing 26 years of progressive law enforcement experience to his role. Throughout his career, he has served in Patrol, K-9, and Criminal Investigations, developing a comprehensive understanding of field operations, investigative strategy, and organizational leadership. His diverse operational background provides him with a well-rounded perspective in overseeing division-wide initiatives and ensuring effective service delivery to the community.

Major Zebley is a graduate of the prestigious Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University and a Master of Public Administration from Columbus State University. His executive education and academic training complement his extensive practical experience, equipping him to lead complex operations while maintaining a strategic, forward-focused vision.
