Colin Belisle

Captain Colin Belisle currently serves as one of two Captains overseeing the Uniform Patrol Division and commands the JCPD drone program and pilots. He began his law enforcement career in 2000 with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department and later with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office before coming to Johns Creek in 2011. Captain Belisle has spent his entire career in uniform “on the road”, coming up through the ranks in patrol and the traffic enforcement unit where he aggressively pursued impaired drivers and served as a serious injury – fatality crash investigator.

Captain Belisle holds an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Macon State College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Valdosta State University where he graduated as a member of Alpha Phi Sigma, a national criminal justice honor society. He has his Supervision and Management certificates through the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, was awarded the FBI LEEDA Trilogy and is a graduate of the 601^st Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command.
