Fire Stations
The Johns Creek Fire Department operates four stations (view map). They are manned 24/7 with full-time firefighters, led by battalion chiefs and company officers.
Station 61
10265 Medlock Bridge Parkway (Medlock)
The station’s equipment includes: Battalion 61, Truck 61, Engine 61, and Boat 61.
Station 62
10925 Rogers Circle (Shakerag)
Adjacent to Shakerag Elementary School, this station houses Engine 62, Boat 68 (Reserve), and UTV61 and UTV62.
Station 63
3165 Old Alabama Road (Newtown)
Located directly across from Newtown Park, this station houses Engine 63 and Squad 63.
Station 64
4795 Kimball Bridge Road (Ocee)
Located between Webb Bridge Way and Jones Bridge Road, this station features three bays for emergency equipment, a generator, and its own 1,000-gallon diesel fuel tank to fuel all JCFD fire apparatus. It’s also home to Quint 64, Squad 64, one reserve engine, one reserve truck, and Air / Light 64.
JCFD Headquarters
The JCFD Headquarters is located inside City Hall, 11360 Lakefield Drive, Johns Creek, GA 30097. Headquarters is open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Apparatus
The Johns Creek Fire Department has three engines/pumpers and two 100′ ladder trucks, custom-built for the department by Pierce Manufacturing, the world’s leading provider of firefighting apparatus.
All emergency response vehicles are equipped with LIFEPAK monitors which monitor heart and lung conditions and have wired and wireless networking capability to area hospitals, allowing for constant monitoring of a victim from the time the first responders in the transport capable rescue arrives at the scene of a medical emergency.
A river rescue boat and a mobile air unit are also part of the department’s apparatus.
