Johns Creek Municipal Court

As the judicial branch of its city government, the Municipal Court is entrusted to preserve the rule of law and protect an individual’s rights and liberties guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution, the Constitution of Georgia, and the Municipal Code of Ordinances of the City of Johns Creek. All parties appearing in this court are entitled to due process before a neutral judge that maintains judicial independence by providing fair and just resolution of disputes in an open and impartial judicial forum.


Johns Creek Municipal Court is a court of limited jurisdiction. The court hears violations of state traffic laws and local ordinances that occur within its city limits. State traffic offenses are misdemeanors. Cases are received and filed either by the issuance of a citation or an arrest made by the Johns Creek Police Department. The court also hears certain specified misdemeanor offenses, nuisances, and quality-of-life cases in violation of the Municipal Code of Ordinances issued by the City’s Code Compliance Officers.

Individuals with city issued citations should report on their assigned court date and time at Johns Creek Municipal Court, 11360 Lakefield Drive, Johns Creek, GA 30097.

Payments

In person from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or online. Please note there is a service fee to cover the cost of the secure and convenient payment service accepting all major debit and credit cards both online and by phone (5%) and in person (3.5%).

Online payments may be made no later than 10 p.m. on your day of court if your appearance is not required in court.
