Jeff Johansen

Jeff Johansen is the Interim Fire Chief for the Johns Creek Fire Department

Chief Johansen brings 26 years of experience to the job, beginning his career with Dekalb County Fire Department in 1996. Chief Johansen worked in Dekalb County until the launch of Johns Creek Fire Department in October of 2008.

He holds an associate’s degree in Fire Science, and is completing his Bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and graduated in 2024. Chief Johansen is responsible for the day-to-day operations of field personnel and ensures that our professional standards and service delivery exceed the expectations of our citizens and visitors.
