Looking to try something new or you just enjoy working out in a fun outdoor atmosphere, the Outdoor Fitness classes are a great workout. Certified instructors teach these popular classes and all fitness levels are welcome. 

Free Outdoor Fitness
at Newtown Park & Cauley Creek Park

Classes include yoga, bar-less barre, Fitness 108, Jazzercise, and Zumba. 
 

Newtown Park Schedule:

Days & Times:
Sundays, yoga at 10 a.m. 
Wednesdays, Barre, 10:15 a.m.; Zumba, 6 p.m.
Thursdays, Fitness 108, 10:30 a.m.
 

Cauley Creek Park Schedule:

Day & Time: 
Saturdays, Functional Strength Training, 8 a.m.
Saturdays, Jazzercise, 10:15 a.m.
*All classes will be held at the Cauley Creek 5K Staging Area field/grassy area.
 
All classes are one hour. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class time to sign the class waiver.

Location: Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater at Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Road & Cauley Creek Park, 7255 Bell Road
Age: 16+. Younger participants must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration: No registration
Equipment: All participants must bring their own exercise mat for yoga and bar-less barre. Please bring a water bottle.

Yoga moves at a slower pace, improving flexibility, muscle tone, strength, and stress management through stretches, poses, and relaxation techniques. 

Bar-less Barre,
A fun, 45 min full-body workout that infuses high-energy music with low-impact movement, resistance training, and stretching to sculpt long, lean muscles and improve your posture and flexibility. Yoga mat required.

Zumba: shake, move, sweat and let it all out! No experience necessary. All are welcome!

Fitness 108: This FUN, bodyweight intensive class will leave you feeling strong, accomplished and sweaty by incorporating full body exercises to build strength, stability and mobility. A methodical group session designed by world class instructors to empower and please function and aesthetics.  All levels are welcomed.

Jazzercise: Feel lighter, stronger and happier after high-intensity, dance based cardio followed by strength training and stretchin

Functional Strength Training: Led by Alloy Johns Creek Personal Training. Class will be 45 minutes long.
