The City of Johns Creek’s Lunar New Year celebration is a family-friendly event that embraces cultural diversity in our community. Commonly known as the Spring Festival in East Asia, Lunar New Year commemorates the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar.

We’re making preparations for the City of Johns Creek’s Lunar New Year Celebration, and we want you to be a part of the event planning committee!
Complete the committee application online for the Lunar New Year Celebration set for Saturday, Feb. 21 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the Atlanta Athletic Club fields (1930 Bobby Jones Drive).
As a volunteer committee member, you can assist with performances/stage management, food/beverage vendors, retail/non-profit vendors, sponsorships, volunteers, and décor.
