Newtown Park Classes
Lift Yoga: All Levels Flow at Newtown Park Amphitheater is an outdoor vinyasa-style class that connects breath with movement in a balanced blend of strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Suitable for all levels, this energizing yet accessible practice offers variations to meet you where you are in each practice. Breathe, move, and flow in the open air to feel energized and grounded
Zumba: Zumba with Paos Fitness Atlanta is a cardio Latin-inspired dance-workout open to all ages, levels of fitness, when you come to Newtown you are part of the fitness family
Tuesday Yoga: Rejuvenate, relax, and realign with Sunrise Yoga! This class will leave you feeling rested and ready to take on the day!
Jazzercise: Jazzercise is the iconic dance fitness program that combines high-energy dance cardio with strength training, Pilates, hip-hop, yoga, and kickboxing, making it the most exhilarating and effective way to stay fit. As the original dance party workout, we’ve been unleashing people’s best selves since 1969.
Fitness 108: All levels are welcomed to our methodically designed 108 bodyweight intensive class. Taught by world class instructors, our 108 group session will have you feeling accomplished and sweaty by incorporating full body exercises to build strength, stability and mobility. Think function meets aesthetics and FUN!
Cardio Strength (May 24 – Aug. 30): Fun-high energy Cardio-Strength with Paos Fitness Atlanta, is intervals of cardio kickboxing, strength with weights & core Pilates. Mat, & dumbbells required, (if you need those the teacher will bring some to borrow).
Cauley Creek Park Classes
Friday Strength: No weights, just you! This is a full body, strength workout. Boost your heart rate and build muscles with only your body weight!
Tuesday & Wednesday Yoga: Traditional Hatha Yoga and ashtanga vinyasa yoga. Warm up exercises, stretching, asanas, sun salutation, relaxation. Emphasizing a balanced approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit while ensuring a fulfilling and effective workout.
Walking Class: We will walk the 5k trail at Cauley Creek Park, starting by the office/pickleball courts. Wear comfy shoes and walk at your own pace!
Zumba: Zumba is an energetic dance based cardio workout to Latin and international rhythms. It’s a fun, social, energy pumping experience designed for everyone!
Class Details
- Locations: Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater at Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Road & Cauley Creek Park, 7255 Bell Road
- Age: 16+. Younger participants must be accompanied by an adult.
- Cost: Free
- Registration: No registration
- Equipment: All participants must bring their own exercise mat for yoga and bar-less barre. Please bring a water bottle.
All classes are one hour. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class time to sign the class waiver.
