Due to weather impacts, Johns Creek City Hall will have a delayed opening until 12 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26. In addition, Park Place inside Newtown Park will also have a delayed opening until 12 p.m.

Johns Creek Police, Fire, and Public Works crew are actively monitoring conditions and responding as needed. Crews continue to treat main roads as there are areas of ice and slush.

The Wall That Heals

The 250-foot replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial honors more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed forces in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.  It bears the names of the more than 58,000 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam. Formerly a traveling memorial exhibit, its permanent home is now inside Newtown Park.


Johns Creek Veterans Association

The Johns Creek Veterans Association strives to honor and remember those who served or are currently serving in any capacity. The JCVA invites veterans of any branch of the U.S. military who reside in or near Johns Creek to join the Johns Creek Veterans Association, a non-profit service and social organization. The JCVA meets at 6 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month at the Park Place Senior Center in Newtown Park.
