City Hall to delay opening until 12 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26

Due to weather impacts, Johns Creek City Hall will have a delayed opening until 12 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26. In addition, Park Place inside Newtown Park will also have a delayed opening until 12 p.m.

Johns Creek Police, Fire, and Public Works crew are actively monitoring conditions and responding as needed. Crews continue to treat main roads as there are areas of ice and slush.

The weather forecast calls for rain this afternoon (Sunday, Jan. 25) with freezing temperatures and potential wind gusts overnight. Please stay tuned for updates!

About the Garden

The Community Garden at Newtown Park is open to any Johns Creek resident interested in planting and maintaining a small garden plot. It’s located between Park Place and the Johns Creek Veterans Memorial Walk.

The garden is located inside Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Road, in between Park Place and the Veterans Memorial Walk.

The community garden is managed and operated by the Johns Creek Garden Association. Please contact the Garden Association for an application and to reserve your bed. Applications are open from Feb. 15 – March 15.
