Summer Concert Series continues with ‘Slippery When Wet’ June 2

The Johns Creek Recreation and Parks Division officially continues the 2023 Summer Concert Series on Friday, June 2, featuring “Slippery When Wet” the Ultimate Bon Jovi tribute band. The group is seasoned veterans of the New York and New Jersey music scene. Raised on the same mean streets and reared in many of the same bars and nightclubs as Jon and the band, these experienced rockers bring the same energy, enthusiasm, and New Jersey attitude to the stage as the early Bon Jovi, circa 1986!

The “Slippery When Wet” concert will feature the food trucks Burger 21Let’s Taco Bout ItStop. Eat. Repeat.King of Pops, and Tiff’s Treats. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

For those looking for a little more room, you can reserve round tables for up to eight people, under the amphitheater visiting the city’s Rec1 page.

The concerts are free. Gates open at 6 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m. This event is rain or shine! In the case of rain, attendees are welcome to bring umbrellas. No pop-up tents, please. If we experience lightning or severe weather, we may delay the start of the concert or evacuate if necessary.

Outside alcohol is not allowed in the Amphitheater. Please note: Dogs are not allowed at City concerts and events (with the exception of service animals).
