Mayor John Bradberry and the City of Johns Creek invite elementary, middle, and high school students in the city to join in showing us your art creations. Johns Creek’s Mayor wants to help students showcase what they love about their hometown!
Participants submit 2D art pieces that can be paintings, drawings, multimedia, photography, or digital illustrations. The theme was chosen to encourage students to explore how they see the world reflected here in our City.
Here’s how it works:
- All the World in Johns Creek, our diversity and community is the inspiration to use to create your masterpiece.
- Digitize your file by taking a (horizontal) picture or scanning it
- Submit your work through the city website at: www.JohnsCreekGA.gov/artcompetition
- Art Due: Monday, April 10, 2023
A variety of submissions may be featured on the City’s social media channels and website. The winning selections (one each from an elementary, middle, and high school student) will be selected by Mayor Bradberry, and the original or reproductions will be displayed at Johns Creek City Hall.
To submit, please visit www.JohnsCreekGA.gov/artcompetition
and fill out the corresponding form. We can accept only one submission from each student in Johns Creek. We recommend including an artist’s signature in the bottom right-hand corner of the art. The final winners will be invited to City Hall to formally unveil their artwork.
Submissions will be accepted until Monday, April 10, 2023
