December 29, 2022
As of Jan. 1, 2023, Johns Creek business owners can begin to renew business occupation tax certificates for the 2023 calendar year.
The City's Revenue Division upgraded to a new online business management system: the Customer Self-Service (CSS) portal. This system will allow you to submit your renewal business tax application online. The 2023 Business Tax renewals will not be mailed this year. The City of Johns Creek is moving to process its business license and excise tax payments through CSS. We are encouraging all businesses to renew their 2023 business tax licenses online.
To use CSS, you will need to:
- Provide your business or personal email address for system access
- Establish a personal password for security
- Verify registered email (registered taxpayers only)
If you already have an e-mail address on file with your business but wish to change it, please call the Revenue Division Office so the new email address can be linked to your CSS account. The Revenue Division staff will have to enter the new email address into the system first so that you can register or utilize CSS online system for the 2023 renewal.
Businesses can renew their 2023 Business Tax License after Jan. 1, 2023. Remember, renewals are due no later than March 31, 2023. Please view the user guide instructions that will help complete your registration with the Customer Self-Service portal.
