City offers Amnesty Program for outstanding court matters

Johns Creek Municipal Court is offering an Amnesty Program to provide a safe, straightforward way to take care of outstanding court matters. Amnesty Court will be held May 7 and June 25 at 1 p.m. at Johns Creek City Hall and is available to individuals with active Failure to Appear bench warrants or unresolved municipal court violations. This program is designed to make it easier to settle eligible cases, clear qualifying court-issued warrants and suspensions, and help individuals maintain or restore lawful driving privileges. Please note: amnesty does not apply to Violation of Probation (VOP) warrants or investigative “city warrants” issued through the police department. Only eligible Johns Creek Municipal Court Failure to Appear bench warrants are included.

Those eligible are asked to appear at the Municipal Court services window prior to each court date to sign up for the May 7 and June 25 court dates. Johns Creek Municipal Court is located at 11360 Lakefield Drive, Johns Creek, GA 30097. 

Walk-ins are welcome on the Amnesty Court dates however, sign-ups in advance are preferred.  Persons in Failure to Appear status will receive instructions via letter in the mail to their last known address of the court’s records.
