Johns Creek adopts Millage Rate for 2025

The Johns Creek City Council rolled back the millage rate from the advertised 3.646 mills per $1,000 of assessed value to 3.492 per $1,000 of assessed value for Fiscal Year 2025.  The rollback rate is the legal definition of the rate that maintains property tax revenues at net neutral on the collective group of existing properties within the City.

“By adopting the rollback millage rate of 3.492, we are living within our means and will remain the lowest millage rate by far of any city in Fulton County.  The City’s fiscal conservatism and adherence to wise financial policies and best practices have put us in the strongest financial position in the City’s history. Even with the adoption of the rollback rate, we will continue to make improvements to the quality of life in Johns Creek,” said Mayor John Bradberry.
