Ribbon cutting celebrates a custom fit for Mizuno, the Standard Club, and City of Johns Creek

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in April to mark the grand opening of The Foundry at The Standard Club.

City Councilman Larry DiBiase, along with executives from Mizuno USA and management from the Standard Club, attended a special grand opening and ribbon cutting to highlight The Foundry, a state-of-the-art research and performance center designed to revolutionize golf club fitting and customization. Situated at the core of Mizuno’s innovation efforts, The Foundry offers a Tour-level fitting experience, complete with in-depth swing analysis and personalized club recommendations for every type of golfer.

Beyond fitting, The Foundry houses a cutting-edge Research and Development Room featuring a robotic testing system that simulates real-world conditions to evaluate and refine equipment across multiple sports. The facility also boasts a full-service Build Shop—modeled after Mizuno’s Tour Workshop—where expert technicians handcraft and fine-tune clubs to exacting standards.

The City is pleased to welcome Mizuno and The Foundry, located at the Standard Club, to the Johns Creek community. Johns Creek has established a national reputation for being a City of Health, Wellness, and Innovation – a strategic alignment which pairs well with the high-tech and top-tier customer service offerings of Mizuno and the Standard Club.
