This year’s keynote author, Kristin Harmel, is a New York Times, USA Today and No. 1 international bestselling author of more than a dozen novels, including “The Forest of Vanishing Stars” and “The Book of Lost Names.” She will treat attendees to a one-on-one question and answer session and discuss her latest book, “The Paris Daughter.”
“We are thrilled to bring together so many nationally recognized authors for our inaugural Johns Creek Literary Fair,” said Mayor John Bradberry. “Our community shares a love of lifetime learning and reading. I know our community will enjoy this celebration of great literature and storytelling.”
The Johns Creek Literary Fair is free to attend and light hors d’ oeuvres, wine and other beverages will be available for purchase.
In between author presentations, live music will be provided by Music Conservatory at the Johns Creek Center for the Arts and their Musik21 students. Students from their renowned music program have been invited to perform in international music courses in Austria, Finland, France, Poland, and Spain.
In addition to Sunday’s event line-up, local bookstores will kick off the weekend’s literary endeavors with in-house author events Saturday, September 30. A full list of authors and locations are listed on the city’s website.
