Post 3: Bob Erramilli
Bob Erramilli
City Council Member Post 3
Johns Creek, GA 30097
Parmesh “Bob” Erramilli was elected in November 2021.
Bob owns and operates the Sy Med group of clinics with his wife, Syamala (Shamala) Erramilli, MD. Previously Bob was a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force auxiliary and served as a combat jet pilot for the Indian Air Force for 14 years. He later became a software engineer who worked with several Fortune 500 companies.
Bob served on the iHeart Johns Creek Advisory Committee and founded the non-profit organization, “I Rose Up,” a youth mentoring program that has graduated 80 high school students. Bob’s efforts of community building at his church, the Sai Temple in Suwanee, quadrupled the volunteer force and he was named president of the temple. He has also served as president of his neighborhood HOA, a role which opened his eyes to some of his platform issues as a city council candidate.
A resident of Georgia since 1999, he and his wife of 33 years live in the Ammersee Lakes neighborhood. Their son, Nik, is a graduate of Emory Law School, where he was a quarterback and basketball team captain.
Bob is an honorary member of the Johns Creek Veterans Association and he enjoys spending time at his hometown favorite park, Newtown Park.
