About the Project
The intersection improvement project increases sight distances for those exiting Niblick Drive and adds a left turn lane on Barnwell Road for those turning into Niblick Drive. A new 8-foot pedestrian trail will be constructed on the west side of the roadway from Niblick Drive to North Peak Drive, improving pedestrian connectivity along the corridor. The trail will provide a continuous pedestrian connection from Holcomb Bridge Road to Old Alabama Road connecting five neighborhoods to the Jones Bridge unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and will provide continuous pedestrian access to McGinnis Ferry Road.
