2024 Update on TSPLOST I Implementation

At the Jan. 22, 2024 work session, City staff provided an update on the implementation of the TSPLOST I program.

City has completed nine projects, has ten active projects, and one project on hold.

Of the active projects, two projects are in the engineering phase, three projects are in the right-of-way acquisition phase, and five projects in the construction phase.

TSPLOST I Project Updates (January 2024):

Engineering Phase:

• Medlock Bridge Road at State Bridge Road long-term intersection improvement
• Medlock Bridge Road at McGinnis Ferry Road intersection improvement

Right-of-Way Phase:

• Jones Bridge Road at Douglas Road intersection improvement
• Medlock Bridge Road Trail from Johns Creek Parkway to McGinnis Ferry Road
• McGinnis Ferry Road Widening (Sargent Road to Douglas Road)

Construction Phase:

• Barnwell Road at Holcomb Bridge Road intersection improvement (*completed spring 2024)
• Jones Bridge Road multi-modal improvements between Douglas Road and McGinnis Ferry Road (*completed spring 2024)
• Medlock Bridge Road at Johns Creek Parkway intersection improvement (*completed spring 2024)
• Medlock Bridge Road at Skyway Drive, Abbotts Bridge Road, and Bell Road intersection improvements (*completed summer 2024)
• Jones Bridge Road widening from Waters Road to State Bridge Road

Completed Projects:

• Haynes Bridge Road at Old Alabama Road

On Hold Project:

• The New Location Road in Technology Park from Bell Road to Johns Creek Parkway
