About the Project
The Barnwell Trail project includes adding a trail (wide sidewalk) and bike lane along Barnwell Road between Niblick Drive and Rivermont Parkway, and between Rivermont Parkway and North Peak Drive. It will provide a continuous pedestrian connection from Holcomb Bridge Road to Old Alabama Road connecting five neighborhoods to the Jones Bridge unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. This will provide continuous pedestrian access to McGinnis Ferry Road.
