Todd Hood

Captain Todd Hood is the Division Commander for The Office of the Chief. He started his law enforcement career with the City of Alpharetta Police Department in 1998 and now has over 25 years of law enforcement experience. He is one of the original founding members of the Johns Creek Police Department and has worked with the city since March of 2008. Captain Hood served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps, where he spent most of his enlistment as part of the White House Military Office assigned to Presidential Security.

Captain Hood holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia Southern University and a Master’s Degree in Public Safety Administration from Columbus State University. He is a member of the 29^th delegation of the Georgia Israel Law Enforcement Executive Exchange program where he spent two weeks traveling to Haifa, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv. He is also a graduate of Leadership Johns Creek.
