Jeff Johansen

Jeff Johansen serves as the Fire Chief for the Johns Creek Fire Department, where he is responsible for leading the department’s emergency response, fire prevention, and community risk reduction efforts in service to the residents, businesses, and visitors of Johns Creek.

Chief Johansen is a seasoned fire service professional with extensive experience in emergency operations, organizational leadership, and public safety administration. Having progressed through the ranks of the department, he brings a deep understanding of the organization, its personnel, and the community it serves. His leadership philosophy emphasizes firefighter safety, operational excellence, accountability, and strong partnerships with city leadership and the community.

Chief Johansen holds a bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and is currently working toward obtaining a master’s degree in Homeland Security. As Fire Chief, he is committed to maintaining a high-performing department that is prepared to respond to emergencies while proactively reducing risk through prevention, education, and collaboration. He is honored to serve the City of Johns Creek and is dedicated to ensuring the highest level of service for those who live, work, and travel within the city.
