Current Issues:

  • Safety and traffic flow along roadway
  • Entrance to upcoming Cauley Creek Park needed 
  • High vehicle speeds along roadway
  • Lack of sidewalk inhibits pedestrian access and walkability of the   area, especially to the future park

Proposed Solution:

  • Installation of roundabout
    • Accommodates those entering and exiting the future Cauley   Creek Park and adjacent neighborhood
  • Addition of pedestrian facilities along Bell Road will promote connectivity   in the area and to future park trails
  • Project cost: $1.1 million (estimated cost of construction)

Anticipated Results:

  • Proactive improvement to avoid serious accidents and improve safety   of the intersection
  • Improves flow and operations for future traffic
