The City of Johns Creek offers CodeRED – a FREE emergency notification system – for its residents and businesses to receive severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service by text, email, or voice call.

CodeRED is a reverse 9-1-1 system that automatically sends recorded alerts from the NWS if a severe weather, flood, or tornado warning is issued for Johns Creek.

CodeRED can also be used by people living in other parts of the country that have family members in Johns Creek, and want to be notified of bad weather here.

Subscribers decide where (mobile or land line) and how (voice call or text) they receive the emergency alerts.

Enrollment in the FREE service is simple. Submit your emergency notification information. Or, you can opt out of the service here.
