Emergency Information

ChatComm, the City’s E911 center, handles both emergency and non-emergency dispatch calls for Johns Creek’s public safety responders, as well as the cities of Dunwoody, Sandy Springs and Brookhaven.

In Johns Creek, you should call 9-1-1 for both emergencies & non-emergencies, when you need police or fire dispatched to you, your home or business.

The City participates in several emergency-related programs, such as Smart911 and CodeRED to enhance communications between the community, the City, and its emergency responders.

The City designed a false alarm ordinance to reduce the inordinate amount of false alarms, freeing up emergency responders to attend to real needs in the community. Alarm Registration provides links to register your alarm, along with penalty information for subsequent false alarms.

Animal control for domestic animals is provided by Fulton County Animal Services. Tips are also provided for common wildlife issues.
