Featured as one of 100 Influential Women to Know in the January/February 2018 Engineering Georgia magazine, Lynette Baker brings 22 years of transportation and infrastructure experience with extensive knowledge in planning, environmental services and engineering.
Baker previously led a technically expansive transportation infrastructure group in Atlanta which included highway and bridge design, traffic and ITS services, environmental planning services, program management/construction management, construction engineering and inspection, civil site development, and survey/laser scanning.
She has also managed numerous Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and local County DOT projects from inception to completion. Baker has a proven track record of communicating effectively with leadership, colleagues and stakeholders to better facilitate efficient and collaborative solutions.
Baker, who earned a B.S. in Environmental Biology from Colgate University, has lived in Johns Creek for the past 14 years with her husband and two girls. She has served on the Shakerag Elementary School Governance Board, was a Fulton County School Governance Council Community Representative, and has held leadership positions with Women in Transportation (WTS) and Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership (IGEL).
