Adaptive Recreation Movie Night set for Friday, May 13

May 04, 2022

The Adaptive Recreation Movie Night is set for Friday, May 13 and will feature the Disney hit, “Encanto.” Encanto (PG) features the Madrigals, an extraordinary family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charmed place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift, every child except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger.

The event is free and begins at 7 p.m. for those looking to save a spot, and the movie starts at sunset (approximately 8:30 p.m.) at Newtown Park. Johns Creek Police and Fire staff will be joining in the fun, meeting and greeting all our guests beginning at 7:30 p.m.

This event is rain or shine! In the case of rain, attendees are welcome to bring umbrellas. No pop-up tents, please. If we experience lightning or severe weather, we may delay the start of the movie or evacuate if necessary.

Please register for this event here.

Please note: Dogs are NOT allowed at the event (with the exception of service animals).
