Bacterial Monitoring Workshop
Join us for a hands-on training workshop on stream water sampling and bacterial testing techniques from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 18.
The Bacterial Monitoring Workshop will teach volunteers how to monitor Escherichia coli (E.coli) levels in their adopted waterway. This workshop will focus on the proper collection of a water sample and transfer of sample onto plates that will be incubated and proper interpretation of results.
These workshops are open to participants 11 years old and up. However, participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult registrant.
Costs for this event is covered by the City of Johns Creek Environmental Initiative. The $5 fee you paid to register served to hold your spot in the class. Autrey Mill is happy to refund that deposit.
In the event of rain, all outdoor activities can be conducted inside or under a pavilion cover.
