It’s property tax season in Fulton County. Here is some helpful information on how to navigate the property tax process:
Who is responsible for issuing my annual property tax bill?
Fulton County Board of Assessors is responsible for valuing all real and personal property within Fulton County, including the City of Johns Creek. The Fulton County Tax Commissioner issues the property tax bill, which is based upon your property assessment.
When do I receive my tax bill?
The 2020 tax notices were distributed by the Fulton County Tax Commission on Sept. 15, 2020. If you did not receive your bill, please call the Tax Commissioner Office at 404-613-6100.
What does my property tax bill include? Do I pay a county tax and a city tax?
Unlike in 2019, the 2020 Fulton County tax bill reflects a consolidated tax bill inclusive of both the county tax and the City of Johns Creek tax. Therefore, you will pay both your Fulton County tax and City of Johns Creek tax in one bill, all payable to Fulton County.
When is my property tax bill due?
Property taxes are due Nov. 15, 2020.
How do I pay my property tax bill?
Payments can be made online at www.fultoncountytaxes.org
or by return mail. Property owners should pay by Nov. 15, 2020 to avoid late fees.
