The City of Johns Creek re-opens additional park facilities on Monday, June 1. With a goal of promoting active recreation and ensuring the health and safety of city residents and visitors, the city requests park guests maintain social distancing and follow the
CDC Guidelines for Visiting Recreational Areas when visiting any Johns Creek recreation and park facility.
Newly Available Park Facilities:
• Playgrounds
• Newtown Dog Park
• Basketball Courts (Ocee basketball courts are closed due to construction)
Resuming Programs:
• Free Outdoor Fitness classes return Sunday, June 7 (
online registration required)
Facilities to Remain Closed:
• Park Place Senior Center
• Newtown Park Community Clubhouse
Cancelled Park Programs and Events (Until Further Notice):
• June 5, Summer Concert Event at Newtown Park
• June 12, Movies at Newtown Park
• LEGO Camp for June 22-26
• All Park Association Athletic Programs & Leagues
• Clubhouse Fitness Classes
• Park Place Senior Center Programs and Events
• All Adaptive Recreation Programs & Events
• All Park Facility Rentals
• All 3rd Party Special Events
