The
Fulton Golden Games, the annual month-long series of Olympic-style events and activities for Fulton residents age 50 and older, has been cancelled due to COVID-19.
The Golden Games is hosted and run jointly by parks and recreation departments from the cities of Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell and Sandy Springs, as well as Fulton County.
Opening Ceremonies had been scheduled for April 29 at Bell Memorial Park in Milton. The ceremonies and all Golden Games-related activities originally scheduled for the month of May will not be held.
Several North Fulton cities, including Johns Creek, have closed off public access to municipal buildings, cancelled Recreation & Parks activities, as well as special events and meetings.
