2019 Summer Concert Series Kicks Off with 'Chicago Rewired'

Summer Concert SeriesThe Johns Creek Recreation and Parks Division opens its 2019 Summer Concert Series on Friday, May 3, featuring “Chicago Rewired,” a Chicago tribute band, at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater inside Newtown Park. Chicago Rewired is sure to entertain audiences, playing all the Chicago hits you know and love.

Food trucks will be returning to the venue in 2019 with beer and wine available for purchase from Top Job Hospitality. The Chicago Rewired concert will feature the food trucks Pay It Forkward and Let’s Taco Bout It and King of Pops for sweet treats. 

For those looking for a little more room, you can reserve round tables for up to 10 people under the amphitheater by calling 678-512-3200

2019 Concert Schedule:

•    Friday, May 31- Uptown Funk (Bruno Mars Tribute Band)
•    Saturday, Aug. 3 – Edwin McCain (original 90’s alternative artist)
•    Saturday, Sept. 7 – The Core Tribute (Allman Brothers and Eric Clapton Tribute Band)
•    Saturday, Oct. 5 - Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra (Classical)

The concerts are FREE. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m.

The Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater is located at Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Rd. in Johns Creek.
