The City of Johns Creek and Autrey Mill Nature Preserve officially opened the newly renovated Farm Museum on Friday, Sept. 21.
The Museum will serve as a focal point in the preservation of local history through the display, interpretation and protection of farming implements and artifacts that are indigenous to Johns Creek. Artifacts housed in the museum include an 1880s Doctor’s Buggy used by local physicians to make house calls.
The project is a total renovation of the existing 781 square foot structure. Some of the renovations include: a new HVAC system; new specially designed barn doors; new metal roof; new interior lighting; and more.
