Free Outdoor Fitness continues in October

Outdoor FitnessThe 2018 Free Outdoor Fitness series at Newtown Park, Burkhalter Amphitheater comes to a close on October 28. But don’t worry, Free Outdoor Fitness classes will return in 2019!
 
The one-hour classes will be held on Sunday, Oct. 14, Oct. 21, and Oct. 28. All classes begin at 10 a.m. and are held at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater in Newtown Park.
 
Classes this month include outdoor Yoga, Bar-less Barre, and Zumba.
  • Yoga moves at a slower pace, improving flexibility, muscle tone, strength, and stress management through stretches, poses, and relaxation techniques. 
  • Bar-less Barre classes are ballet inspired exercises that use small isometric movements to build muscle, improve posture, balance, and flexibility. 
  • Zumba is a popular fitness program that combines popular music with easy to follow dance moves for an effective and exhilarating calorie-burning workout!
All participants must bring their own exercise mats. Participants under the age of 16 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.
