Public Works

Public Works is responsible for the management, development, safety and maintenance of the City's transportation system. Its three divisions provide:

Department staff are committed to providing high quality service to the residents and business owners of Johns Creek. Their Citizen Response Team strives to respond to citizen and community requests in a professional and timely manner. They address issues and concerns such as:

  • repairing damaged curbs, gutters, catch basins, sidewalks and roadway paving;
  • maintaining rights-of-way by mowing grass and removing trash and debris; and
  • maintaining traffic lights and signs.

The City's solid waste program is administered by Public Works, which also works closely with the Georgia Department of Transportation and Fulton County Public Works to assure that county and state roads within Johns Creek are maintained and improved.
