Spring Egg Hunt [2010]

Easter egg What would spring be without an Egg Hunt? Come and enjoy face painting, moonwalk, children's activities, and an opportunity to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny at our Pre-Hunt activities.

We will begin our annual Spring Egg Hunt promptly at 1:30 p.m. Children have the opportunity to hunt for thousands of filled eggs "hidden" all over Newtown Park's main soccer field. There will be separate areas designated for different age groups and special prize eggs will be hidden in each age group area.

Please bring your own basket to collect your eggs and your camera for pictures.

Time: "Pre-Hunt" activities begin at 12:30 p.m.;
Egg Hunt begins at 1:30 p.m. sharp!

Movies in the Parks [2009]

"Movies in the Park" is a summer outdoor series of family-friendly movies presented on a huge inflatable screen at Newtown Park. Pre-show activities include inflatable moonwalk and giant slide, face painting, children's activities, give-a-ways, entertainment, food and drinks along with displays from local businesses/organizations.

Fall Family Festival [2009]

The City's annual family-friendly "Fall Festival" at Newtown Park features moonwalks, a giant slide, an obstacle course, carnival games, music, food, arts & crafts and fun for the entire family.

Breakfast with Santa [2009]

Santa's hat Join Recreation & Parks for "Breakfast with Santa" on Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Newtown Park Community Clubhouse.

Enjoy music, gingerbread cookie decorating, holiday crafts, and have the opportunity to write a letter and hand-deliver it to Santa. Parents have an opportunity to take photos of their children with Santa.
