Summer Day Camp registration begins March 24
Four one-week sessions to be held in June for children ages 6-12
JOHNS CREEK, Georgia—March 6, 2008—Registration for the City of Johns Creek's Summer Day Camp program, open to children ages 6-12, begins March 24.
The program, available to city residents only, offers campers a week filled with games, arts and crafts, entertainment, field trips and more. There are four one-week sessions available – June 2-6, 9-13, 16-20 and 23-27. Camp operates at Findley Oaks Elementary School from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Registration is limited to 50 campers per week with a ratio of one counselor for every 10 campers. Cost is $200 per week.
Registration forms will be available March 24th. You can download these from www.JohnsCreekGA.gov or call 678-512-3200 to request a form by mail. Proof of age (birth certificate) and residency (utility bill) is required for each camper.
The Recreation and Parks Division is also seeking camp counselors, age 18 or older. If interested, call 678-512-3200 for more information.
