In Johns Creek, you should call 911 for both emergencies & non-emergencies, when you need police or fire dispatched to you, your home or business.

For example, if you see suspicious behavior but it's not a crime in progress, please don't hesitate to call 911. Or, if you're the victim of identity theft, call 911 and an officer will be dispatched to make a report.

There is no separate, non-emergency dispatch phone number. The city's 911 Emergency Communications Center handles both emergency and non-emergency dispatch calls for our public safety responders.

However, call 678-474-1600 (Mon-Fri, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) if you need a copy of a police report, background check or have a general question about the JCPD or its Community Service programs.

The Johns Creek Call Center does not handle 911 nor police dispatch calls.

Rather, it assists with City government and service calls such as: road damage/potholes and sidewalk repair; maintenance of park/city facilities, right-of-way, street lights, traffic signs/signals; stormwater, drainage and erosion problems; dead animals; litter and other non-emergency matters.

A customer service representative will answer your question or send your request directly to the appropriate City official or staff member, who will try to respond within 24 hours.

Animal Control

Fulton County Animal Services, managed by Barking Hound Village Foundation, provides animal care and control for Johns Creek. It investigates cruelty and neglect and picks up stray or lost animals. It also shelters and cares for animals at its headquarters at 860 Marietta Boulevard in Atlanta.
