Purpose: This committee serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council on:
- Matters of policy and administration for the city owned parks,
- Recreation programs operated in these parks,
- Related investigations and reports referred by Council, and
- Related recommendations on policies and proposed ordinances which the Committee deems important.
The City Council is not legally required to act upon the Committee's recommendations.

The Recreation & Parks Advisory Committee meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm in the City Council Chambers at 12000 Findley Road, Suite 300, Johns Creek, GA 30097.
