About the Board

The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) decides on cases requesting variances and/or code interpretations on the regulatory ordinances of the City including but not limited to:

The board hears cases requesting appeals to a staff interpretation and/or decision on the above referenced ordinances. Other ordinances adopted in the future tha tinclude regulatory requirements that affect building and development may come under the purview of this board. Any appeal to BZA decisions are made to the Superior Court of Georgia.

Meeting Schedule

Meets on Tuesday per month (see schedule below or view the City Calendar) at 7 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, 11360 Lakefield Drive.
